Group
of pieces sculpted in steel, representing our eminent person sphinx, and
the first shield of the Oriental Province that dates of 1816.
Still
in our days, Artigas's soldiers shine in their uniform this shield.
It
is of highlighting that these pieces have been sculpted directly on the
steel, the one that previously to be chiseled it has been thermally to
reduce their hardness.
Then
the images were engraved by old technicals, with burin and chisel whose lines can be appreciated in both pieces.
They
were polished without deteriorating this prints, and finally the steel
was tempered.
All
these processes have been made by the author.
